I called RE; getting a Mimi's Cafe and spoke to a few of their reps. They said they looked into coming here but unfortunately cannot convince them to pull the trigger due to proximity to Fairfield. Also said they love being close to malls and EXTREMELY busy shopping centers as they rely on breakfast...

That sounds good. Although opening up to the river would create more traffic going through, I think it would be good to be able to take kids fishing, walking down the river, etc. I think I might just go to that meeting.

Or even bury the power wires so it can look like an actual city not and "in between".

Does anybody know what the city is planning to do at the end of this road-where the Waterton community starts. River access would be great. A marina or a park-there is a lot of potential there.
