More rain is expected Thursday! The heaviest amounts are expected during the work day. Things should taper off by the evening hours. Total precipitation could be 2 to 4-inches. Gusty winds up 30 mph will be possible. Potential impacts include flooding, downed trees, power outages, and mudslides with debris flows. City crews have been out today making the rounds in known trouble spots. Self-service sandbags remain available at City Hall. Just like the previous storms, this one could cause localized roadway flooding. Highway 29 is the responsibility of Caltrans and CHP (not the City), so please remember to sign-up for Nixle alerts (https://local.nixle.com/city/ca/napa/) to keep informed about road closures. Stay off the roads tomorrow if you can and please drive safely if you must go out!
