Successfully Housing People with Disabilities

This workshop will provide an overview of federal and state fair housing laws and reasonable accommodations for anyone who regularly works with people with disabilities. Individuals encouraged to attend this comprehensive and informative conference include: resident and property managers, assisted rental housing managers, persons with disabilities, attorneys and legal service providers, tenants and tenant advocates, and case management staff.
The price of the conference is $85 and it includes a training manual and lunch. A limited number of scholarships are available for tenants or applicants.
Come and participate in group discussions for practical solutions to commonly asked questions on reasonable accommodation and other related subjects.
This conference is presented by Fair Housing of Marin with support from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). Co-sponsors include: California Apartment Association (Contra Costa/Napa/Solano Division), City of Fairfield, Department of Fair Employment and Housing (DFEH) and Legal Services of Northern California.
