I have a question regarding how a replacement will be decided if Chief Koford wins his election. Is that an internal decision made by the Sheriff's Dept or do the City officials have any input on his replacement?

Although the process has not been finalized, all Lts. And Capts at the Napa Sheriff’s Office that are interested in the position would be allowed to apply. They would then be invited to an interview consisting of city staff.
